Within our Cooperative, a group of beekeepers is committed to organic beekeeping.

Organic beekeeping aims to have a maximum positive impact on the environment while ensuring the excellence of hive products. It has driven the evolution of conventional beekeeping practices and serves as a lever for improvement across the entire French beekeeping industry.

What is organic honey ?

Organic honey is distinguished by production methods and bee-rearing conditions that comply with European organic farming specifications.

The Organic Farming reference for honey and other hive products implies that the producer has committed to respecting the relevant specifications and agreed to undergo the control system provided by European regulations.

All our organic honeys are gathered, harvested, analyzed, and jarred in France, in full compliance with organic beekeeping specifications.

Hives are placed in preserved and certified natural spaces, ensuring the well-being of the bees and the excellence of the honey.

Each beekeeper works to maximize their positive impact on the environment and is committed to :

Harvesting their honey exclusively in organic or wild natural spaces.

Harvesting their honey in organic, wild, or cultivated natural spaces using environmentally friendly methods.

Ensuring sufficient reserves for the bees during winter.

Building their hives with natural or environmentally neutral materials.

Using exclusively organic and untreated wax.

In case of scarcity, feeding the bees solely with organic products.

« After perfecting my skills in conventional beekeeping, I switched to organic. It is a philosophy and a way to show the agricultural world that everything is possible ! »

Adrien, organic beekeeper for Les Compagnons du Miel in the Cher region.
