Our French Forest Honey is an extraordinary honey harvested from the rich botanical species gathered by bees during peak nectar flows. It features complex notes of linden, oak, deciduous trees, fir, and bramble. Its dark hue evokes the depth and diversity of France’s lush woodlands. Highly prized for its fruity scent and long-lasting finish, its rich plant variety delivers complex and harmonious nuances to delight your palate.
🌿 Did you know?
French Forest Honey owes its unique character to France’s major forest regions, such as the Jura, Vosges, Sologne, and Gers massifs. Often originating from honeydew produced on trees like oak, fir, and linden, this honey is harvested mainly in late summer. Because tree blooms vary considerably from year to year, each harvest remains a rare and precious reflection of French woodland ecosystems.
With its smooth, liquid texture, this honey is perfect for drizzling over pancakes and crepes. You can also use it to elevate salad dressings or add a bold twist to craft cocktails.
Like all our honeys, it has been harvested with care by our Cooperative’s beekeepers and underwent strict production and packaging processes, with certified 100% hive-to-jar traceability. French Forest Honey is certified Agri-Éthique French Fair Trade, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of honey while supporting producers and the French beekeeping sector.
