🌿 Did you know?
Chestnut Honey comes from a majestic tree prized for both its wood and delicious fruits. Thriving in acidic, well-drained soils, the chestnut tree provides bees with an abundant midsummer bloom. The resulting honey is famous for its robust, powerful taste, accompanied by subtle woody bitterness that makes it a truly unique specialty.
With its smooth, liquid texture, French Chestnut Honey is perfect for pairing with strong cheeses like Roquefort, Bleu, or sheep’s milk Tomme. It is also an extraordinary ingredient for sweet and savory dishes, elevate glazes, and gourmet desserts.
Like all our honeys, it has been harvested with care by our Cooperative’s beekeepers and underwent strict production and packaging processes, with certified 100% hive-to-jar traceability. French Chestnut Honey is certified Agri-Éthique French Fair Trade, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of honey while supporting producers and the French beekeeping sector.
