Harvested on the slopes of the famous Tourmalet, this liquid honey with a light hue and fluid texture offers delicate, floral flavors. Unlike lowland honeys, rhododendron honey is distinguished by its subtle and fresh notes, reminiscent of alpine landscapes.
Crafted from rhododendron flowers, this honey delivers a subtle and elegant tasting experience.
The slopes of Tourmalet, a jewel of the Pyrenees.
Located in southwestern France, this region is renowned for its majestic peaks and alpine scenery. Rhododendrons bloom abundantly here, offering a precious nectar gathered with dedication by our bees.
Our beekeepers, passionate about this preserved nature, produce a unique and authentic high-altitude honey.
Highlighting the best of the harvests
For the cooperative’s laboratory team selecting Miel et Miels® harvests, close collaboration with beekeepers is essential to showcase the fruit of their labor.
Producers establish a pre-selection by specifying floral varieties and apiary locations. All honeys are then validated by the expert palates of our “honey sommeliers,” who have been working alongside them for nearly thirty years.
Finally, the laboratory performs the necessary analyses to confirm the botanical designation.
