🌿 Did you know?
Our Vosges Fir Honey carries the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO / AOP) certification. This guarantees its authenticity and intimate connection to the Vosges terroir. The fir trees of this region yield a rich, complex honeydew gathered with care by bees to produce an exceptional honey. The mountain climate and siliceous soils create ideal conditions for this honey, distinguished by its powerful, lingering aromas.
PDO Vosges Fir Honey is harvested at the end of summer when fir honeydew reaches its peak. It features a fluid, syrupy texture, making it perfect to pair with strong cheeses, enrich dressings, or sweeten traditional desserts. Its intense and slightly spicy flavor complements bold dishes, showcasing the know-how of our Vosges beekeepers and the richness of this iconic region.
Like all our honeys, it has been harvested with care by our Cooperative’s beekeepers and underwent strict production and packaging processes, with certified 100% hive-to-jar traceability. PDO Vosges Fir Honey is certified Agri-Éthique French Fair Trade, allowing you to enjoy all the benefits of honey while supporting producers and the French beekeeping sector.
