Tournerie Patel

Tournerie Patel was founded in 1950 by Marc Patel. It is a family-owned woodturning workshop located in Montcusel, in the southern Jura region, close to our Cooperative. Their products are crafted using traditional artisanal methods. All of their boxwood is sustainably sourced from the Jura region and its neighboring communities.

Boxwood, an iconic evergreen tree, offers much more than its verdant beauty. Its dense, hard wood, sought after for centuries, reflects its invaluable worth across various traditional crafts. With its oval leaves and discreet flowers, boxwood thrives in temperate climates, gracing forest edges and gardens with timeless elegance.
